1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the use of the Rollrite Garage Doors website at rollritegaragedoors.co.uk and the supply of products and services by Rollrite Garage Doors. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Please read these terms carefully before using our website or engaging our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

4. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations provided by Rollrite Garage Doors are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.
All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate. A standard quotation covers:
- The roller garage door manufactured to your measurements
- Electric motor
- Two remote controls
- Safety edge and auto-locking mechanism
- Manual override for power cuts
- Professional installation
- Removal and disposal of the existing door (where applicable)
Any additional work not included in the original quotation (for example, structural repairs, electrical work, or brickwork modifications) will be quoted separately and agreed with you before the work is carried out.
5. Surveys
Rollrite Garage Doors offers free on-site surveys for homeowners across our service area. During the survey, we measure the garage opening, assess the fixing surfaces, and discuss your requirements.
The survey and resulting quotation are provided without obligation. You are under no pressure to proceed and may take the quote away to consider at your own pace.
6. Orders and Payment
An order is confirmed when you accept a quotation and pay the required deposit. The deposit amount will be specified on your quotation.
The balance of the total price is due on completion of the installation. Payment may be made by bank transfer, debit card, or credit card, or by any other method agreed in writing.
Your garage door will be manufactured to order once the deposit has been received and the order has been confirmed. Manufacturing lead times vary depending on the specification and will be communicated to you at the time of order.
7. Installation
We will arrange a mutually convenient installation date once your door has been manufactured. Most installations are completed within a single visit, typically within half a day.
As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring:
- The garage is cleared of any items that may obstruct the installation
- A suitable mains power supply is available within the garage for the motor
- Adequate access is available for our installers and their equipment
- Any vehicles are moved away from the garage before the installation begins
If access or conditions at the property prevent us from carrying out the installation as planned, we may need to reschedule. Any additional costs arising from failed access will be discussed and agreed with you beforehand.
8. Cancellation Rights
If you entered into the contract at a distance (for example, by telephone or through the website without an in-home visit), you may have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. In such cases, you have 14 days from the date of the contract to cancel without giving a reason.
However, please note that made-to-measure and bespoke goods are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. As our roller garage doors are manufactured to your specific measurements, this exemption may apply once manufacture has commenced.
If you entered into the contract during an in-home visit (for example, following an on-site survey), the contract is not a distance contract and the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply. However, we will always try to accommodate reasonable cancellation requests where possible.
To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone on 01376 800 750 or by email at [email protected].
9. Warranty and Guarantees
All roller garage doors supplied by Rollrite Garage Doors come with a manufacturer warranty covering the door curtain, motor and operating mechanism. The duration of the warranty depends on the product and package chosen, and details will be provided at the time of order.
In addition to the manufacturer warranty, we provide a workmanship guarantee on the installation itself. If any issue arises as a result of the installation, we will return to rectify it at no additional cost.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications, or failure to carry out reasonable maintenance. Normal wear and tear is also excluded.
These guarantees are in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the products and services.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, industrial action, government restrictions, or failure of third-party suppliers.
In the event of a force majeure situation, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and will use reasonable efforts to minimise the impact on the delivery of your order.
