Most standard installations are completed in a single day. This includes removing any existing door if needed, fitting the new door and guide runners, mounting the motor and control unit, programming any remote controls and running all safety checks. Larger or more complex installations may take a full day.
Clear access to the garage opening and nearby power points helps us complete installation efficiently. Move any vehicles, bikes or stored items away from the opening. If there is an existing door, we will remove it as part of the installation at no extra cost.
Yes. Every installed garage door includes a 5 year manufacturer warranty covering the door itself; the installation is not covered. Because RollRite are a local Essex business, aftercare and warranty support is handled directly rather than through a third party.
Professional installation ensures correct fit, safe setup, reliable automation and long-term performance. Our in-house engineers check every measurement, align the guide runners precisely, test the motor and any safety edge, and programme any remote controls before handing over.
Yes, RollRite remove and dispose of the existing garage door as part of the installation. This includes taking down the old door, removing any tracks, springs or fittings, and leaving the opening clean and ready for the new door. The cost of removal is included in the installation price.
Roller garage doors can be fitted to most standard garage openings. They require approximately 75mm of clear space on each side for the guide runners and between 205mm and 300mm of headroom above the opening for the top box. During the free survey, we will confirm whether your opening is suitable.
